The Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi)
This Solemnity honors Jesus Christ, Really, Truly, and Substantially Present under the appearances of bread and wine. This Presence happens through the change that the Church calls transubstantiation (“change of substance”), when at the Consecration of the Mass, the priest says the words that Christ Himself pronounced over bread and wine, “This is My Body,” “This is the chalice of My Blood,” “Do this in remembrance of Me.”
Regular Weekend Mass Schedule:
Vigil Mass: 5:30 PM Folk Mass, 7:00 PM Spanish Mass
Sunday: 7:30 AM, 9:00 AM, 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM
Procession: Sunday at 3 PM outside the Church.
