Students in our Religious Education program receive 2 years of preparation, normally during 1st and 2nd grade academic years, and First Communion is received in the Spring of year 2.

Student at St. Bonaventure Catholic School receive First Communion in the Spring of their 2nd grade academic year. The Religion Teacher and School Administration will provide all the necessary information to students and parents.

Adults 18 and older who have not received First Communion should contact the Church Office for additional information.

This sacrament is the source of great graces that sanctify us and help us grow in the likeness of Jesus Christ.
