Retreat is a time you can spend with God, assessing your relationship with Him away from the ordinary distractions of life. In the Gospels, we read that Jesus would simply go off and pray. Each of us needs time without distractions, and a retreat provides us with this opportunity.
Our Lady of Florida offers the opportunity for you to experience God, a time of prayer and the wisdom and counsel of gifted and seasoned retreat Preachers.
Our annual retreat at Our Lady of Florida in North Palm Beach is a great opportunity for spiritual growth, reflection, fellowship and rest. The grounds are beautiful and very peaceful. It is very different from an Emmaus retreat. The pace is very relaxed, and participants can attend the talks and sessions (which are led by the retreat house priests, deacons, and sisters) or not, as the need/mood/Spirit leads.
