The Golf Tournament Supports These Organizations

Founded in 1985, St Bonaventure is home to over 8,000 families in the South Florida Area. Father Ed has been the pastor for the entire 35 year history! The Catholic Family of St. Bonaventure Parish is a sacramental community of faith. We acknowledge that the tenets of the Catholic Faith serve as the belief system which we strive to manifest in our worship and our love. We are convinced that our faith is relevant to all facets of our existence. We seek to incarnate this faith through various activities in our parish and community.

“A network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness and building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need.” Our founding activity, still practiced today, is the face-to-face Home Visit, in which Vincentians visit the homes of those they serve, to identify both immediate and longer-term needs, including emergency assistance with utilities, rent, food, and clothing.

American Legion Logo.png

The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans. Hundreds of local American Legion programs and activities strengthen the nation one community at a time. The American Legion is a nonpartisan, not-for-profit organization with great political influence perpetuated by its grass-roots involvement in the legislation process from local districts to Capitol Hill. Legionnaires’ sense of obligation to community, state and nation drives an honest advocacy for veterans in Washington. The American Legion’s success depends entirely on active membership, participation and volunteerism. The organization belongs to the people it serves and the communities in which it thrives.
